Aw, thank you!

I got seeds from Johnny's and Select Seeds in case you were wondering. :)

I don’t know what I’d do without garden planning and gardening books to carry me through the winter! Last year I started everything from seed and it was so satisfying. This year I have a baby due in May so I’m giving myself the option of plants, but I am so enjoying the green seedlings in my dining room while it’s still cold and gloomy outside.

I buy plant starts too, sometimes it makes more sense. And, congratulations with baby on the way!

Love the idea of seed ordering as therapy. The connection between planning for growth when things feel chaotic is something I've been thinking about a lot lately. Funny how a simple act like choosing which zinnias to grow can ground us when everything else feels unmoored. Those Darjeeling sunflwoers look unreal btw.

That same corner of the illustration was my favorite part of the newsletter, too (the little mouse… oh, my heart). And thank you for illustrating and labeling your favorite zinnias. I’m starting my entire garden from seed this year (except tomatoes), so I’ll be ordering seeds soon as well…

All of this is absolutely delightful! I also got some teddy bear sunflower seeds, let's hope the sun comes out and they all grow super tall and fluffy.

Fingers crossed!
